Our Stories is a warm, patient AI companion that calls older adults for regular, unhurried conversations about their lives. It listens without rushing, and over time, those conversations become a memoir—in their own words—for the people they love.

How they met. What childhood felt like. The chances they took. The people they miss. The things they learned and never thought to write down. Our Stories gives them time to tell it all.
HOW IT WORKS
Simple for storytellers.
Meaningful for families.
A storyteller simply texts YES when they're ready to begin—often with family at their side—or, from a phone that cannot text, calls our number and says yes. Nothing happens until they choose to take part, and they can stop at any time.
A warm AI companion calls at agreed times — as often as the storyteller likes — asks about their life, listens without rushing, and remembers what they've shared from one conversation to the next.
Their conversations gradually become a first-person memoir — shared with the people they love only when the storyteller says so.
WHO WE ARE
Our Stories, plainly.
Stories disappear surprisingly easily: a grandparent's childhood, how your parents met, the work they loved, the mistakes they made, and the little stories everyone assumes they'll remember. Our Stories helps families preserve them—in the storyteller's own words and on their own terms.
Names, conversations, recordings, and memoirs are kept private and protected. We never sell their information. Nothing leaves a storyteller's family circle without their separate, explicit permission. If they ask us to delete their information, we delete it permanently. Technical details are available in our privacy policy.
During the pilot, Our Stories is free in exchange for honest feedback from storytellers and their families. Our aim is that the calls stay free. If we introduce a paid option later, it will be for the keepsake — the printed memoir and its recording — taking part will always remain optional, and we will explain any cost clearly before anyone chooses to continue. We will never sell a storyteller’s identity, voice, or private conversations.
